"A Diamond in the Sky" is a dramatic character study about two weeks in the life of John Phillips, a recently widowed father who must battle with Child Protective Services to retain sole guardianship of Tommy, his five-year-old son.

Due to the overwhelming response and sheer number of submissions that have been received in L.A. during the last 24 hours, the producers and the director have decided to push the July start date for this project to allow for adequate time to review all submissions and audition the many talented people that have expressed interest in this film.
